14:41- On the second play of the quarter, Threet completes a 17-yard touchdown pass to Kerry Taylor. ASU up 14-3. The Sun Devils completed an eight play, 80 yard drive in only one minute and 41 seconds.
NAU with the ball on its own nine-yard line after a block in the back penalty.
12:03- Deveron Carr gets his first career interception, and ASU takes over at the 48-yard line.
10:42- ASU fails to convert a fourth down, and NAU takes over at the 39-yard line.
7:38- Reid Worthington intercepts a Threet pass and returns it 34 yards to ASU’s 10-yard line giving NAU a first and goal.
6:12- Zach Bauman punches it in on third and goal for an NAU touchdown. ASU leads 14-10.
NAU is out-rushing ASU 50-11. What a difference a week makes.
3:56- The Sun Devils seem to be a little shaken up. They failed to convert on a fourth down, Threet threw an interception, and now they fail to convert on a third and eight. NAU has a chance to take the lead going into halftime.
2:59- The ASU defense responds with a strong stand, forcing NAU to punt. Sun Devil ball at midfield with a chance to add to the 14-10 lead.
ASU wide receivers have dropped six passes. Aaron Pflugrad, uncharacteristically, has dropped four.
1:24- Thomas Weber drills a 31-yard field goal to give ASU a 17-10 lead.
At the end of the first half, ASU leads NAU 17-10. Stay tuned for second half coverage.
