Greetings, and welcome to Sun Devil Stadium, as tonight, ASU plays host to the 6th ranked Stanford Cardinal.
Pregame Former Sun Devil quarterback Danny Sullivan is standing on the ASU sidelines.

Suns forward Josh Childress was the honorary captain for Stanford. ASU wins the coin toss and elects to receive.
1st Quarter 14:08: ASU’s offense stalls, going three-and-out. Stanford takes over at its own 49-yard line. Newsflash: Andrew Luck is very good.
10:57: Stanford is having a lot of success on its first offensive possession, driving to the ASU three-yard line.
9:45: Owen Marecic punches it in from three-yards out, and the Cardinal take a 7-0 lead. 9:38: LeQuan Lewis returns the ensuing kickoff to the ASU 26-yard line.
7:55: ASU’s offense has responded, getting to the Cardinal three-yard line thanks to a 30-yard Steven Threet completion to Gerell Robinson.
7:45: Threet runs it in to the end zone from three-yards out, and we’re tied at 7. ASU’s scoring drive: seven plays, 74 yards in 1:54.
6:56: The Sun Devil defense forces Stanford to punt, and the offense will take over at the 39-yard line.
5:10: Delano Howell intercepts a Threet pass, and the Cardinal take over at their own 27-yard line. Threet now has 16 interceptions on the year.
3:56: Stanford is unable to capitalize on the turnover, and is forced to punt. ASU takes over at its own 22-yard line. Both offenses have stalled since the beginning of the game. Stanford takes over at its own 44-yard line after forcing ASU to punt. Stanford decided to go for it on fourth down, and failed to convert. ASU takes over at its own 46-yard line.
0:00: One quarter of play in the books, and we’re tied at 7.
2nd Quarter
14:00: On fourth and one, Threet completes a 27-yard pass to Cameron Marshall. ASU at Stanford’s 17-yard line.
12:24: ASU is on the verge of scoring again, as Threet finds T.J. Simpson at the Cardinal two-yard line. First and Goal.
11:39: Threet fumbles at the one-yard line, and the Cardinal recover in the end zone, resulting in a touchback. Very costly turnover for ASU.
7:41: Luck has led Stanford into Sun Devil territory. First and 10 from the 15-yard line.
5:48: Oliver Aaron forces Luck to fumble the football, and Junior Onyeali recovers. ASU takes over on offense. The Sun Devil defense has played extremely well thus far. ASU is unable to take advantage of another opportunity to score, and is forced punt. An illegal block in the back penalty puts Stanford at its own 8-yard line
0:21: Nate Whitaker misses a 34-yard field goal, and the score remains 7-7. Andrew Luck had an incredible 44-yard pass on that drive. Look for it on the top highlights of SportsCenter. 0:00: We’ve reached the end of the first half, and the game remains tied at 7.
3rd Quarter Stanford gets the ball to start the second half.
12:44: Stanford’s is unable to do anything on its first drive, and ASU takes over on offense at its own 41-yard line.
11:35: Back and forth we go, ASU stalls on offense, and Stanford takes over at its own 33-yard line.
6:57: Nate Whitaker’s 44-yard field goal is good, and Stanford takes a 10-7 lead.
5:57: Marshall rushes for 39-yards to put the Sun Devils at the Stanford 15-yard line.
4:43: Steven Threet finds Kerry Taylor for an 8-yard touchdown pass, and ASU takes the lead. Thomas Weber’s struggles continue, however, as he misses the point after attempt. The fans start to boo him a bit.
1:36: ASU’s defense stops Stanford on its ensuing drive, forcing the Cardinal to punt. Sun Devils take over at their own 21-yard line.
0:00: At the end of the third quarter, ASU leads 13-10. We’re in for quite a finish.
4th Quarter
14:53: ASU punts the ball back to Stanford, who takes over at its own 30-yard line.
11:50: Eddie Elder intercepts a Luck pass and returns it to the Sun Devil 36-yard line. Stanford has been moving the ball well.
10:39: The Sun Devils are unable to convert on the interception, as they punt the ball back to Stanford, who takes over at its own 15-yard line.
8:41 – Eddie Elder appears to make his 2nd interception, but a holding call in the secondary allows Stanford to keep the ball
6:14 – Stanford picks up a first down and ASU commits a facemask penalty and an unsportsmanlike conduct penalty to give the Cardinal the ball at the ASU 7.
5:14 – Owen Marecic picks up his 2nd TD of the game. The extra point by Whitaker is good. Stanford leads ASU 17-13
3:58 – ASU goes 3 and out deep in its own territory. Stanford takes over at its own 45
2:59 – Stanford able to convert for a 1st down
2:20 – Stanford forces ASU to use its last timeout and will be able to run the clock almost all the way out
1:00 – Luck takes a knee. Stanford on their way to the victory
