Greetings, and welcome to Arizona Stadium for the Territorial Cup between the Arizona Wildcats and the Arizona State Sun Devils.

Both teams just took the field. Electric atmosphere here.

First Quarter

U of A won the coin toss and will receive. Here we go.

The Wildcats will start from their own 34-yard line.

13:27- The ASU defense starts off strong, forcing a three-and-out. Brock Osweiler and the Sun Devil offense will start off from their own 30-yard line.

11:50- ASU is unable to do anything on its first offensive series and the defense is back on the field. U of A takes over at its 32-yard line.

10:35- ASU’s defense looks solid early on, once again forcing a U of A three-and-out. Sun Devils take over on offense from their own 29-yard line.

9:39- It’s been a battle of the defenses thus far, with ASU going three-and-out again. Wildcats take over on offense from their 36-yard line.

7:12- The Wildcats pick up two first downs on their drive, but are unable to score any points. They punt back to ASU, which takes over at its own 20-yard line.

U of A has used a school record three different punters in the quarter.

6:19- ASU gets its first first down of the gain, thanks to a 14-yard completion from Brock Osweiler to Gerell Robinson.

5:06- The Sun Devils punt, yet again. Wildcats take over at their own 20.

2:39- Apologies for the lack of updates, I was doing a radio spot for Bottom of the Sixth. Thomas Weber drills a 52-yard field goal, and the Sun Devils lead 3-0.

0:00- After one quarter of play, ASU leads, 3-0.

Second Quarter

14:01- Trevor Hankins shanks a punt and the Wildcats take over at the ASU 40-yard line.

12:04- Big defensive stop for ASU after U of A’s great field position, and the Sun Devils take over at the 37-yard line.

10:27- ASU punts the ball back to U of A. Very boring game, so far.

9:16- Surprise, surprise. Another punt. ASU takes over at its 23-yard line, still leading 3-0.

8:32- Brock Osweiler has struggled passing the ball, completing only 3-of-15 passes. Another ASU punt gives U of A the ball back at its 19-yard line.

7:40- U of A converts its first first down on a third down, now at the 33-yard line.

7:21- U of A now in ASU territory, at the 45-yard line.

5:09- ASU gets the ball back at its own 9-yard line.

3:59- Brock Osweiler makes a nice play running nine-yards for a Sun Devil first down at the 20-yard line.

3:16- Osweiler again on third down scrambles for the first, this time a gain of 11.

2:06- Three third down conversions in a row. Brock finds Gerell Robinson for a 24-yard gain, and ASU is now in U of A territory, at the 37-yard line.

0:08- Osweiler completes a 19-yard pass to Kerry Taylor, and the Sun Devils are at the Wildcat 19-yard line.

0:03- Thomas Weber nails a 36-yard field goal to give ASU a 6-0 lead.

Third Quarter

Omar Bolden returns the opening kickoff to the ASU 35-yard line.

12:55- ASU’s first drive stalls, and Trevor Hankins punts the ball to the Arizona 9-yard line.

9:55- U of A is in business, thanks to a 37-yard pass from Nick Foles to Terrence Miller. Wildcats at the Sun Devils’ 28-yard line.

9:32- On the very next play, Foles finds Juron Criner for a 28-yard touchdown pass. Wildcats lead, 7-6.

Arizona had 83 total yards in the first half, but that drive was 91-yards.

8:34- Osweiler gets sacked on third down after nearly throwing an interception on second down. Sun Devils punt the ball back to the Wildcats, who take over at their own 43-yard line.

6:59- U of A punts the ball back to ASU, which takes over at its own 13-yard line.

6:07- Osweiler finds Cameron Marshall for a gain of 18-yards. Sun Devils now at their own 31-yard line.

4:46- Osweiler has looked good when he’s had time to throw. Sun Devils now in Wildcat territory, at the 44-yard line.

3:10- ASU goes for it on fourth and three, and fails to convert. U of A takes over at its own 37-yard line.

2:01- LeQuan Lewis gets burned by Juron Criner on a 52-yard touchdown play. Lewis mistimed his jump, going for an interception, and Criner was left wide open. Wildcats now up 14-6.

0:49- Osweiler finds Taylor for a 54-yard pass, putting the Sun Devils at the Wildcat 19-yard line.

0:00- At the end of the third quarter, U of A leads ASU, 14-6.

Fourth Quarter

14:25- Osweiler gets sacked on third and four, resulting in a loss of two. Thomas Weber hits a 38-yard field goal to cut the deficit to 14-9.

12:38- Huge play for ASU as Oliver Aaron forces and recovers a fumble. ASU takes over at midfield, down 14-9.

11:14- Osweiler runs for 14-yards on a third and 13 to put ASU at the U of A 40-yard-line.

9:16- Osweiler converts on third down again. First and goal, ASU, at the U of A 6-yard line.

I was on the field for the rest of the game. As most of you are probably aware, Arizona State beat Arizona in double overtime.
