Good evening, and welcome inside Wells Fargo Arena for Pac-10 Basketball, featuring the Arizona State Sun Devils (9-15, 1-11) and the Washington Huskies (17-7, 9-4).

ASU will look to end its 10-game conference losing streak, while Washington will look to stay in the Pac-10 title race.

The Sun Devils will be honoring two former greats tonight, Byron Scott and Lionel Hollins, as their jerseys will be put up in the rafters of Wells Fargo Arena. Former Sun Devil and current member of the Oklahoma City Thunder, James Harden, is expected to be in the house as well.

-ASU forward Rihards Kuksiks will not play tonight due to a sprained ankle he suffered last Sunday against Arizona.

-There are a good amount of Washington fans here. The lower bowl of the student section is about half full. Most of the upper level is empty, and the lower bowl isn’t much better. Guess that’s what happens when your team is 1-11 in the Pac-10.

Here are tonight’s starting lineups

Washington: Isaiah Thomas, Scott Suggs, Aziz N’Diaye, Matthew Bryan-Amaning and Justin Holiday

Arizona State: Jamelle McMillan, Ty Abbott, Kyle Cain, Trent Lockett and Carrick Felix

First Half

-James Harden just entered the building and is sitting courtside.

15:55- First media timeout, with the Sun Devils leading 9-5. Trent Lockett has been aggressive early on, scoring five of ASU’s first nine points.

15:35- The Sun Devils are already in the bonus after Aziz N’Diaye picks up his second foul, the team’s 7th foul.

11:05- Timeout on the floor, and ASU leads Washington 17-14. The Sun Devils are shooting 46% from the floor, while the Huskies are shooting 40%. ASU has looked pretty sloppy on offense so far. It also seems that Washington is finally starting to figure out the Sun Devil zone.

9:15- Washington takes its first lead of the game on a Bryan-Amaning free throw followed by a C.J. Wilcox three. The Huskies are on a 9-0 run over the last 1:24 and lead 23-19.

7:31- We’ve reached the under-8 timeout, as Washington leads ASU 27-24. Ty Abbott has 13 points on 6-of-7 shooting for the Sun Devils.

3:41- Herb Sendek calls timeout after an emphatic dunk by Bryan-Amaning. He and Wilcox have combined for 20 of the Huskies’ 34 points. Washington up 34-28.

1:33- Final media timeout of the half, and Washington leads 38-28. The Huskies are on an 8-0 run and are having their way with rebounding.

0:00- We’ve reached halftime, and Washington leads ASU 43-33. The Huskies are shooting 47% from the floor, while the Sun Devils are shooting 43%.

Second Half

Corey Hawkins will start the second half for ASU.

18:18- Things getting chippy here, as Ty Abbott elbowed Isaiah Thomas after Abbott thought Thomas shoved Jamelle McMillan. ASU assistant coach Dedrique Taylor got a technical foul.

17:13- Washington calls a timeout after a Kyle Cain layup cuts the lead to seven, 49-42. Crowd starting to get fired up.

15:32- First media timeout of the half, as Washington leads ASU 51-42.

14:02- ASU had cut the lead to 49-42, but Washington has responded with a 10-0 run and now lead 59-42. C.J. Wilcox has 16 points for the Huskies.

11:08- Under-12 timeout, and Washington leads ASU 59-44.

7:49- Washington extends its lead to 20, 68-48. ASU’s worst loss this year was their conference opener at Oregon State, when they lost by 22.

5:50- Herb Sendek seems to be waving the white flag, pulling all the starters and leaving a lineup full of freshman: Keala King, Chanse Creekmur, Brandon Dunson, Jordan Bachynski and Corey Hawkins.

3:39- Final media timeout of the game, and Washington leads ASU 74-55.

0:00- Final score from Wells Fargo Arena: Washington 79,  Arizona State 62 . The Sun Devils fall to 9-16 overall, and 1-12 in Pac-10 play. They will host Washington State this Saturday at noon.
