Baseball finishes rain-shortened sweep of New Mexico

February 21st, 2011 by

On Sunday, the Arizona State Sun Devils finished off a sweep of the New Mexico Lobos, winning the first game (a continuation from a game started Saturday) 8-1 and the second game of the day by the score of 7-4.

With the wins, ASU moves to (3-0) on the young season.

A scary moment during the second game, ASU freshman Cory Hahn collided with the knee of UNM second baseman Kyle Stiner while sliding head-first into second base. Sources say that Hahn has a spinal cord fracture. On behalf of everyone at The Blaze, we ask that you all keep Cory Hahn and his family in your prayers.

The Sun Devils baseball team is back in action Friday night as they take on the Delaware Blue Hens in the first of a four game series. You can listen to that game right here on The Blaze 1330 AM.
