There are many benefits to working at the Blaze. First, it’s a great place to meet other people who are interested in radio. Whether your interest is in music, sports, news, production, promotions, or anything else, you will meet someone who shares your passion. Not only will you make long-lasting friends from your time at the radio station, but you will also learn many valuable skills if you want a future in radio. You’ll learn how to operate the studio equipment, edit and create on-air elements, as well as how to work behind the mic!
Working at the station has other benefits as well. We often get access to movie screenings, concert tickets, and have various celebrities who come by the station. Being a part of the Blaze is a great experience; if you share any of our interests, you will fit right in.
To be a member of the Blaze staff, you must be registered for at least one (1) credit hour at ASU. In addition, you must be in good academic standing. The only other requirements are a willingness to learn about radio and to have a great time.
