This expert cast of Ridin’ The Pine is made up of personalities from around the country! Let’s meet the crew..
Nick Franck:
Nick grew up in a small town in North Dakota and brings the midwest expertise to the Pine. He is a Senior at Arizona State, double majoring with Broadcast Journalism and Political Science. He’s still not sure exactly what he wants to do, but as long as it involves talking, he’s in! Nick is a lifelong Minnesota fan (Yupp…). The Twins, Vikings, Timberwolves, and Gophers top his list of favorite teams. And of course has become a fan of the Sun Devils since relocating to Arizona. Nick’s favorite Blaze moment was calling the ASU-Missouri football game.
Sam Tongue
Sam Tongue is currently a senior at ASU’s Cronkite School downtown, studying digital and online journalism and pursuing both bachelor’s and master’s degrees. Born in Portland, OR, Sam has consistently supported sports teams in the Northwest, namely the Portland Trail Blazers, Oregon Ducks football and most recently the Portland Timbers. Upon moving to Phoenix in 2009 Sam also adopted the Arizona Diamondbacks and obviously the Sun Devils as part of his sports lifestyle. Living in two different parts of the country, Sam strives to connect national stories to the local listener, whether it be through writing, video or his personal preference, radio.
Jordan Hamm
Jordan Hamm is also a Senior at ASU’s Walter Cronkite School of Journalism. Jordan is the local product on the show, bringing the most knowledge of the Cardinals, Suns and Diamondbacks. Jordan is an avid Ravens fan and U of A hater.
