Bottom of 5th: Popescue mows the Redhawks down in the inning and earns her first collegiate win

Top 5th:Two left on base, no runs, top half over

Bailey Wigness gets a single, she’s now 3-3 this year

Michelle Nulliner gets her first at-bat of the season as a PH and strikes out lookingto start the inning

Bottom 4th:Popescue is cruising in the circle, same score after four

Top 4th: Goodman smacks an RBI single to score Ketchum and score is now 10-0

Bottom 3rd:A 1-2-3 inning for Popescue

Annie Lockwood guns out Clark at first on a 9-3 putout

Top 3rd:ASU leaves the bases loaded to end the inning, but tacks on another run

Kelli Demianew now pitching for Seattle, Lacy Goodman greats her with a single

Urfer homers again for ASU, this time a three run bomb

Bottom 2nd: A 4-6-3 double play by ASU ends the inning

Top 2nd: Haro adds to the ASU lead with an RBI double to make it 5-0 now

Mandy Urfer then skies a two run home run to left field

Kaylyn Castillo launches a solo home run to left centerfield to start the inning

Bottom 1st: Popescue sets the Redhawks down 1-2-3 on three groundouts

Top 1st: ASU is the away team, therefore is batting first.Shortstop Katelyn Boyd led off the inning with a double and scored on Talor Haro’s RBI single

Pregame: The No. 9 ASU softball team is taking on Seattle University right now at Farrington Stadium. The Sun Devils (5-1) are back in action after posting five wins in last weekend’s Kajikawa Classic.
