Reik came to the Arizona State Fair on Oct. 10., for their “Panorama 2025” U.S.A. Tour. Their first stop was in Phoenix, and the following day in Tucson.
The buzz and excitement to see Reik could be felt outside the Veterans Coliseum and walking through the State Fair.
Originally from Mexicali, Baja California, Mexico, this pop band is composed of Jesús Navarro, Julio Ramírez and Bibi Marín. Reik has been active since 2003.
The concert was set to start at 7 p.m., with no show opener, and Reik started at 7:05 p.m. The crowd went wild when the background music started to play, signaling that Reik was going to appear soon.
As soon as lead vocalist Navarro said “Hello, Phoenix,” cheers from eager fans filled the Coliseum. This was the first time that Reik had been in Phoenix for over six years. What made it even more special was the fact that this was the first time that Reik played at the Arizona State Fair.
The concert lasted almost two hours, and Reik made the crowd remember their earlier days and laugh with them. Ramírez, the guitarist, made the crowd laugh several times throughout the performance.
Many moments were crowd favorites, especially when Reik would sing a song that other artists collaborated with them. This performance left everyone wanting more, with fans chanting “otra, otra, otra,” when Reik finished singing their last song, “Yo Quisiera.”
Hopefully, Reik will come back to Phoenix next year, and not have fans waiting years for them to come back to Arizona. Reik will release their new album sometime in November.
