For the second night in a row, on Nov. 19, 2025, Billie Eilish left Phoenix speechless with her “HIT ME HARD AND SOFT” tour. Eilish delivered an incredible performance, featuring songs from all three of her albums, as well as her most popular hit singles.
Despite the rainy weather, many fans with general admission tickets anxiously camped outside of Mortgage Matchup Center for days, attempting to get good spots in the arena. This has become a tradition for Eilish’s superfans, even though venues do not encourage it.
Lucy Dacus was Eilish’s opener in Phoenix and took the stage around 7 p.m. She set a calm tone in the arena with her light, buttery voice and shy stage presence. Although she was visibly nervous, she put on a great opening performance while the crowd anxiously waited for Billie.
Eilish finally took the stage around 8:15 p.m., and as the music started and the lights dimmed, the crowd went wild. The first song sung was “CHIHIRO,” a popular hit from her most recent third studio album. The night continued with countless performances from the pop artist showcasing her vulnerability, incredible range and showstopping visuals.
Eilish is known to be authentically herself, and this was most certainly proven at night two in Phoenix. Most artists get glammed up and go through various outfit changes during their shows, but not Billie. Eilish came on stage with natural makeup, white baggy shorts, a multicolored jersey and topped it off with a backwards hat.
The unique thing about this artist is that she doesn’t have to try to be cool; she just is cool, and this became evident in Phoenix.
It’s clear that Eilish cares very deeply for her fans, as she makes sure to thank them throughout the concert. She reminded fans multiple times that she is an advocate for them and will always be there to use her platform to speak the truth.
About 10 songs into the concert, the singer started her acoustic set and introduced the members of her band. Notable members include backup singers Jane Horner and Ava Horner.
Eilish created a very unique stage design for the “HIT ME HARD AND SOFT” tour. The stage is a long rectangular shape that is placed at the center of the floor in arenas. The stage is notably one of the biggest and provides fans with a good view from any angle. This stage also includes special details like floating platforms and big screens.
In addition to this stage, there was also a small square B stage that Billie surprised fans with. She sprang from this stage, shocking fans across the arena.
During night two in Phoenix, the star strayed away from her usual set list and surprised fans with “Hailey’s Comet,” a song from her second studio album. The crowd roared with excitement, and fans quickly got out their phones to capture the moment.
The stage lighting of this show conveys the intricate details that Eilish put into this tour. For example, during “Guess," a song on which Billie is featured, the lights go green to represent the color of the album cover, and lasers emerge as the beat drops, electrifying the arena.
The sound is also proven to be of great quality when the singer asks the crowd to be silent for her song, “when the party’s over.” During this section, the singer performs a loop of harmonies that plays back as a backing track, requiring silence from the audience for it to be successful. This song showcases Billie’s soft tone and glass-shattering high notes.
Fan interactions seem to be very important to this popular artist since there are many moments during the show that make this apparent. Eilish does a barricade walk where she touches fans' hands who are within reach. She also sits down at one end of the stage and grabs fans' hands during her song “What Was I Made For?”
Eilish ended the night with her hit song “BIRDS OF A FEATHER,” and confetti blasted from cannons above as the song came to an end.
Fans shared so many emotions during night two in Phoenix. Tears were shed, songs were screamed and dancing was done. These moments become the most special for fans who have followed Billie for years.
It is clear why this singer is so popular; she not only puts on such a great show, but truly loves what she is doing. She even mentioned to fans in Phoenix that this was one of her last shows on tour, and she will not be adding more dates because she has an album to make.
Billie Eilish only has a few more shows left, so don't miss them! Tickets and merchandise can be purchased here.
