Space Laces to debut Vaultage 004 in Denver this weekend

Prolific bass music producer Ian Slider, better known by his stage name Space Laces, will be presenting the soon-to-be newest addition to his largely diverse catalogue: Vaultage 004.

Space Laces will be joined by sets from Getter, BLVNKSPVCE and a back-to-back set by Automhate and Aweminus on Saturday at Mission Ballroom in Denver, Colorado.

Vaultage 004 now has a set release date of Dec. 4 containing 32 unreleased tracks and demos, making 004 by far the longest Vaultage with the largest catalogue. 004 will also be the Vaultage with the most collaborations, as his mixes have been made entirely of solo IDs.

This also marks the longest gap between Vaultage mixes, with 003 having released in March 2021.

In a pinned post on X, Slider mentioned how his upcoming performance is “the clearest representation yet of what [the] project means to [him]” and how the last 10 months alone have been spent curating this phase of his project.

Slider has also teased five tracks off of 004 in the last two weeks on social media, including two collaborations in “STAXX” with Dillon Francis and “ICE PICK” with SVDDEN DEATH.

Bass music producers like Subtronics, Vanfleet and Tynan have praised Slider for his forward-thinking sound design and versatility through genres, which has recently gained him spots with industry giants like Marshmello, DJ Snake and Skrillex.

X user @nolosaddiction commented “quite literally the best in the game wow” under Slider’s teaser of Ice Pick, a sentiment that many other producers share.

Many Vaultage tracks are purely for this series and will never be released. However, tracks like “Run DLL”, “Kaiju” and “D.A.W” were all released years after their original features in 2019’s Vaultage 002.

Vaultage 004 is expected by many on the Internet to be a trend-setting, game-changing experience.

Doors open at 8 p.m. and BLVNKSPVCE will start his set at 8:15 p.m. Slider performs at 11:25 p.m. and there is a hard 1:00 a.m. curfew.
