The Phoenix Film Festival is off to an exciting start with shorts, documentaries, and feature films being screened at Harkins Theaters Scottsdale 101. One such film is “Kindling,” the feature film debut of writer and director Connor O’Hara. I had the opportunity to watch it on its final day of screening.

TV Messages, The Fiends, and Miserable Ghost played at Trunk Space on February 11th, 2023. Trunk Space is a non-profit, all-ages venue located in Grace Lutheran Church, in Downtown Phoenix. TV Messages is a Phoenix-based band consisting of lead vocalist and guitarist Kaili Orcutt, bassist Tanner Bontrager, guitarist Pablo Cruz, and drummer Scott Kelston. Their music can be described as dreamy pop-rock. The Fiends and Miserable Ghost are both hardcore punk bands.
