Goldrush makes its long-awaited Return to the West with stacked lineup

Goldrush is making its long-awaited return to Rawhide Western Town in Chandler in less than a week.

Relentless Beats announced the festival’s highly anticipated return earlier this year. The festival has its roots at Rawhide in 2017, when the lineup included EDM, rap and hip-hop icons like Marshmello, Migos, Lil Uzi Vert and RL Grime.

RB moved its big-ticket events like PHXLights, Goldrush and Decadence out of Rawhide up until June 2024, when Illenium was announced as the brand’s grand return to its western roots.

The festival is wild west themed, bringing an old frontier-style atmosphere to the modern sound of EDM.

With tickets almost sold out, the venue is expecting upwards of 10,000 attendees.

The festival takes place on Friday, Sept. 12, and Saturday, Sept. 13. Each night’s lineup brings its own unique spin on music, with artists across different styles of house, techno, dubstep and drum n’ bass.

This year’s lineup breaks several records: mainstage icons Illenium and Zeds Dead will be going back to back for the first time ever, as well as heavy hitters Versa and MVRDA.

Excision, now this year’s Friday headline act and one of the biggest in EDM, was featured as a special performance in 2017.

GETTER will be performing his resurrection set, bringing back his classic dubstep sound after seven years of performing as Terror Reid

Other artists on this year’s lineup include afterparty headliners INFEKT and ChaseWest, Benny Benassi, Crankdat, Major Lazer Soundsystem, Space Laces, Eliminate and Showtek.

This year’s Goldrush also features an Art Car stage packed to the brim with local DJs like Endopez, Bigstabes, DeathBeat and LUGH!

Arizona State University students are also joining in on the fun. Mattias, a political science major and LIVVIEP, a digital audiences major, will both be playing at the silent disco along with ASU alum, Dilemma.
