Phoenix Fashion Week 2025 Prepares to Unveil a Show Unlike Any Other

A new venue, theme and designers are set to transform Phoenix Fashion Week 2025 into a reimagined experience unlike any other.

The event will take place Oct. 11 in Chandler at Gila River Resorts & Casinos – Wild Horse Pass, in the Palo Verde Ballroom. This year’s theme is “Best of PHXFW,” and celebrates the best of Phoenix fashion.

All the changes make it hard to know what to expect, but Phoenix Fashion Week Executive Director Brian Hill summed it up simply: “Amazing fashion talent in your backyard, showcased globally.”

The night will feature a couture runway show with multiple designers and brands, such as Red Berry Woman, Frayed Needle and Monetary Exchange, as well as curated pop-up shops and the announcement of the illustrious Model of the Year and Designer of the Year awards.

The runway will be stretched across a large ballroom, giving attendees a close-up view of every look and detail. This will be the first time Phoenix Fashion Week is held at Gila River Resort. Previously the show had been held at different venues in the valley such as the Chateau Luxe.

Percy Knox, a member of the Phoenix Fashion Week advisory board, looks forward to the new location.

“We’re indoors now which is great,” Knox said, describing how the weather had posed a challenge in previous years.

Some of the designers at this year’s show include Ernest Bell, Tony Garcia and Mint Lovell. Lovell believes the show is a great opportunity for local designers to put themselves out there.

“I think that Phoenix Fashion Week, and Brian in particular, is so good about reaching out to local designers and guiding them and handing them opportunities like this to show who they are not just to Phoenix, but to the whole world.”

Phoenix Fashion Week is one of the Southwest’s top fashion industry events, and provides designers and models a chance to gain exposure. One of the models in this year's show, 17-year-old Logan Aycock, moved to Arizona after dropping out of high school to pursue a career in modeling.

Aycock will be walking for two designers in this year’s show, and can’t wait to be backstage with his fellow models, “You all feel like family waiting for that moment to happen,” he said. “I really love that nervy feeling.”

Organizing an event of such magnitude does not come without its challenges. “It’s hard doing it in Phoenix,” Knox said, explaining that Arizona only has a few events that are very well known. “Phoenix Fashion Week has become one of those events.”

But Hill, the driving force behind the event’s success as executive director, prefers to remain humble and lets the fashion do the talking. “I’m blessed with the opportunity. It’s a big responsibility, I take it really seriously,” he said.

Phoenix Fashion Week 2025 is open to the public and tickets to the show can be purchased online at phoenixfashionweek.com
