Reggaeton icon Yandel stopped by the Arizona Financial Theatre on Nov. 15 for his “Yandel Sinfónico” tour.
The concert was set to start at 8 p.m., but eventually started at around 8:50 p.m. The reason for this delay was that the venue awarded Yandel a sold-out ticket for the night.
Born in Cayey, Puerto Rico, Yandel began his singing career with Wisin, who is also from Puerto Rico. The duo are known as Wisin y Yandel, and are famous for their reggaeton style.
Wisin y Yandel started their music journey in 1998 and were active until 2023, when they decided to pursue their own solo careers.
This has not been the first time that the duo have split, but it has been the first time that either of them do a sinfónico tour.
Yandel barely got on stage when his fans went crazy. As soon as he began his song, “Puño De Tito,” everyone was standing and dancing.
This sinfónico tour was unlike any other tour that an artist could be on. With the orchestra and the backup vocals, this concert left fans wanting more. Fans were able to get new hit songs and old ones like “Mirala Bien” and “Nadie Como Tu.”
The concert lasted about 90 minutes, but as soon as Yandel sang the last official song on the setlist called “Algo Me Gusta De Ti,” fans started to cheer and ask for an encore.
Yandel sang his song “Yandel 150 ft. Feid,” making sure fans were happy before they left the venue.
