PHOENIX - Phoenix Pride’s Rainbows Festival kicked off on Saturday, March 28, to showcase the community they have built over the years.
From 10 a.m. to 6 p.m., the first day of the Rainbows Festival was open to the public to celebrate diversity and inclusion. Vendors and booths lined Monroe St and 6th St, and local artists and drag queens showcased their talents to the festival goers.
“We just have a philosophy that all bodies are welcome, and this is a place where all bodies are welcome,” Jillian Wells with HelloSugar said. HelloSugar specializes in hair removal for everyone.
Wells said the Rainbows Festival is a place where everyone is welcome.
