As Ray Volpe says, “Brostep, it's time to get back in the game.” With tracks still up on SoundCloud stretching as far back as 2013, Volpe is by no means a newbie to the music industry. Over the past nine years, he has steadily gained traction while touring the country and internationally.
For the Arizona rave scene, 2025 was nothing short of a monumental year. The past 12 months has seen the arrival of a slew of new festivals, venue openings and an explosion of popularity for the culture on a local scale. The culmination of this transcendent year came at the country’s premier New Year’s Eve celebration, Decadence Arizona.
Jesse Kardon, better known as Subtronics, had a monumental year in 2025. He has been busy releasing collaborations with A list artists like John Summit, and curating his own festivals and experiences across the country like the two-day Cyclops Desert that took place in Chandler this summer.
Decadence Arizona, fresh off celebrating its 10th anniversary last winter, makes a return to Phoenix Raceway to cap off 2025 with “The Portal of I11usions” theme. Last year’s lineup featured acts like Excision, John Summit, ISOxo and the tandem of Crankdat b2b Riot Ten with 50,000 ravers in attendance over the two night long celebration. As temperatures begin to dip across the desert, the excitement is only heating up for Arizona’s largest EDM festival to once again ring in the new year.
While most of the country is winding down from festival season and temperatures begin to cool in the desert, the Arizona rave scene is just starting to heat up. Warehouse shows have been returning for a few weeks now, but the ravers of Arizona finally got their first outdoor show of the year just last weekend.
When it comes to the North American EDM scene, Insomniac is above all. Their production value, attention to detail and willingness to break boundaries are part of what makes them leaders in this industry.
Chase & Status have been behind some of this generation's most defining music. The duo collaborated with artists like Rihanna long before they were a household name.
